- Job Description:
- Support faculty in delivering hands-on lab sessions for cybersecurity-related courses (e.g., ethical hacking, network security, computer forensics, and mobile applications and security).
- Assist students with technical issues during lab work and projects.
- Collaborate with faculty to design and implement lab exercises that reflect current cybersecurity challenges.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all activities and services of the laboratory.
- Maintain the quality of the laboratory of the Cybersecurity program.
- Develop and maintain documentation for lab procedures, configurations, and safety protocols
- Responsible for preparing periodic and statistical reports to the director of the Cybersecurity program and the College.
- Responsible to participate with students in their graduation projects and assignments.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the Director of the Cybersecurity program and the College.
- Recommended to have a minimum of 2 years of experience with cybersecurity or passing the EC-Council (or equivalent) certified ethical hacking exam.
- Working knowledge with Linux, SQL-based relational databases, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Android Studio, Python, Virtual machine, Network Protocols.
- Familiarity with security intrusion detection tools, vulnerability assessment tools.
- Ability to work as part of a team and also under limited supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in Arabic/ English languages, spoken and written.
