 Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in cybersecurity, Computer science, or related discipline required

 

  • Job Description:
  • Support faculty in delivering hands-on lab sessions for cybersecurity-related courses (e.g., ethical hacking, network security, computer forensics, and mobile applications and security).
  • Assist students with technical issues during lab work and projects.
  • Collaborate with faculty to design and implement lab exercises that reflect current cybersecurity challenges.

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all activities and services of the laboratory.

  • Maintain the quality of the laboratory of the Cybersecurity program.
  •  Develop and maintain documentation for lab procedures, configurations, and safety protocols

  • Responsible for preparing periodic and statistical reports to the director of the Cybersecurity program and the College.
  • Responsible to participate with students in their graduation projects and assignments.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the Director of the Cybersecurity program and the College.

 

  • Recommended to have a minimum of 2 years of experience with cybersecurity or passing the EC-Council (or equivalent) certified ethical hacking exam.
  • Working knowledge with Linux, SQL-based relational databases, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Android Studio, Python, Virtual machine, Network Protocols.
  • Familiarity with security intrusion detection tools, vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also under limited supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Arabic/ English languages, spoken and written.
